Product Description
The Large Base Camper has a 5 and 3 liter pot, fry pan, 2 lids, cutting board and a detachable gripper. The cutting board is thick enough for heavy prep work and isolates the pots for clatter free transport. All plastic parts are BPA free. Comes packed in a cover that is also a sink. Weight: 3lbs 2 oz. Features non-stick coated, hard anodized aluminum. Includes: 5 Large pots, 3 Large pots, 9.75" Fry pan, 2 Strainer lids, cutting board, folding pot gripper and welded sink.

I am a heavy canoe, hiker, camper. 6-8 trips yearly 2-3 multi night. I purchased this set which is about the 4th set over the years for me. I liked the strainer lid and other options. The first time I used it cooking breakfast (eggs/bacon) over med/low heat, the clear plastic lid melted on one side. Not good. Imagine if this was dinner (which was over the camp fire this time) on high cooking steak and such. I am heading to Quetico Canada and now I will have to look for a different set. This wouldn't be cool 50 miles into the forever wild interior. Perks are the bottom cook wear is nice quality, the sink/case works great and the sides stay up when full and do not fall over and spill. If the lids did not melt I would say this is the ultimate kit, but *sigh* oh well. I am going back to the classic metal lids. We have clear lids in our kitchen, but of course they are glass. I guess it was to good to be true.Why don't companies at least try out their products one time before selling them to the public.
Locking, double bail handles make for easy handling of 5 L pot and secure enitre set for transport. Rugged stuff sack holds set and doules as a sink or wash basin.
