I'm not sure if leaking components were a problem that have been fixed, but I've bought and trusted Camelbak for years and I've always been very pleased. I trusted buying this, despite some negative reviews, and I'm glad that my trust was not misplaced.What I love about it:- Bladder: + Built in Quick-Link - (Great for pulling just the tube out, or switching tubes if need be) + Built in drying arms - (If you don't dry them you can always store them in the freezer where bacteria will not be able to grow) + Mid-Seam - (Keeps overall girth of the pack from expanding too far) + Quarter-turn Cap - (I never had much hassle with the old cap, but this new one is definitely easy) + NO LEAKS ANYWHERE- Bag: + Attachable to other packs - (Great for adding more water or just externally attaching your water pack, great for backpacking) + UnBottle Bag has a slim design - (Exactly the right size for the bladder) + Small Zipper port for Quick-Link - (The bottom blue section of the bag is a zipper section allowing you to quickly disconnect the Quick-Link without removing the entire bladder)What I would change: - Strap attachment points - (They are fixed so for most packs you'll probably only attach the top two, unless you have a strap or rope that you attach around your pack just to add the bottom two) - To backpack straps - (I think the only thing lacking in the design is some removable backpack straps, that would make this thing perfect)Not too many cons, overall definitely a great buy, and the bladder is still very useful if I want to remove it from the bag and use it in any of my older Camelbak bags.Check out my pictures for detailed looks.

The new quarter turn lid is amazing! If you have ever struggled to open a camelbak lid you will definitely appreciate this! Further, Camelbak has added easy zipper access to the hose connection and zipper access to get the bladder out. The last sip of water was still cool after 6 hours of desert racing!

I bought this to put in my own backpack to use at Disney. My backpack has a slit at the top to put a headphone cord through. I feed the tube through so this item was in the backback and the hose was outside of it. Using my own backpack was good side my is bigger than the CamelBak backpacks. I filled up the night before, added some ice in the AM and went to the parks. The insulated bag kept the other things in the backpack dry. I brought along some Brita Filter bottles for everyone and filled up each one as needed. There is a yellow plug 90 degrees from the mouth piece that allows for a steady stream of water if you squeeze the bag. When you consider how much this costs versus how much bottles of water are a a theme park this will save you money. This model is far better than the last model because of the quick connect hose assembly that connects the hose to the bag. Because of it you can buy an additional carbon filter that CamelBak makes. It also makes cleaning easier.
