great pillow and comfortable but takes up a little more space than i would like and it weighs a little more than i would like for backpacking. so far ive only used it for international travel. works great for use on long flights, etc. it has a bunch of stuffing inside which is why it takes up more space than the other pillows that dont have the foam inside.

its a nice pillow. theres a lot of foam in here, and there is a significant difference between this and the other exped pillow line. this one packs up 4-6x bigger than the exped air (and rivals the size of my packed up inflatable sleeping pad), but i still like it because its higher and it helps me sleep on my side. its also a pretty big pillow; you can get two heads on it if you two snuggle.i've also used this as a travel pillow (planes, trains, other hotel rooms) and at home - and for the latter, it was well - because i enjoyed it just that much. on a plane or train, i found that i could use it as back rest with it inflated maybe 20%, and i could use it as a pillow with 0% inflated. anymore, and the thing would have been too big. but this is not a downside, i think the foam really just adds to its versatility, because you can then take this with you camping or to replace a pathetic hotel pillow.the downside to this thing being so enormous(ly awesome) is that it does pack large, and when inflated it's too big to fit inside my mummy sleeping bag. i'm considering getting a smaller one if i do more camping.

I used this pillow on a couple of extended backpacking trips and it works good every night. It packs easy and blows up quick with a few breaths. I put a camp towel over it to keep it clean and give it a softer feel at night.
