I bought this pack at LeBarons in Toronto a few years ago. It has served me well on many multi-day hikes, canoeing and camping trips. It is a reasonably priced bag with a nice features and quality construction.PROS- Large capacity with good distribution. The pack has a large main compartment, a top and a bottom compartment.- Accessible main compartment. With the daypack attachment removed (4 side-release buckles) you have full access to the main compartment via a U-shaped zipper. This is great for packing and accessing items throughout the pack. The pack is a top-loading design and there is access from the top down as well.- Water resistant membrane at the top of the main compartment exapands the capacity and has a pull cord to synch the membrane closed to keep water out.- Bottom compartment is huge. Big enough to fit a sleeping bag, or tent or, in my case a Hennessy Hammock.- Daypack is removable and allows for extra storage in addition to the main pack. It has a small flat 2nd pocket to install a water-blatter system. (sold seperately).- Top pocket has has exterior and interior zippered access for even more storage and quicker access to important items.- Long bottom support straps. 2 straps have enough length to secure a compressed sleeping bag or tent underneath the pack.- Comfortable suspension system. This adjustable support system is comfortable and allows the carrier to adjust back pad and put the weight on your hips.- Extras. The whistle attachment on the sternum-strap. The extra zip pocket on the waist band. The included rainfly.CONS- Shoulder straps need to be continuously tightened if you are carrying a heavy load. This is a bit annoying.- Not a lot of exterior strapping or attachment options. Carabiners help with versatility, but some molle webbing would be a big improvement.- You need to detach the daypack in order to access the U-shaped zipper for the main compartment.- Not as many comfort, suspension adjustment options as some higher-end packs.Overall I am very pleased with this backpack. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good 3 - 5 day pack at a very reasonable price.
