The canopy parts arrived loose in the box, and the parts had multiple paint scratches/damaged areas. It appeared as though the parts had been used before. The quality of the paint application on the metal parts was mediocre at best. Amazon replaced the first shipment and I was overall satisfied with Amazon's customer service. I recommend opening and inspecting the contents of the box before the delivery people depart.

ASSEMBLY UPDATE===============Assembly is fairly easy, although the instructions are very minimal. Each part is labeled with a part number, this makes it easy to id the parts. This is especially helpful since many of the parts look a lot alike. The only problem with this system is the diagrams use different numbers and you have to look at a provided translation table to determine what part is what.I did most of the assembly by myself and was concerned that this would be difficult, it was not. I was also concerned that as I began to add the legs to the roof the pipes would bend and generally be unstable. This was not a problem either. I was easily able to lift one end of the roof section to add a new leg without serious flexing. Adding additional legs also proved easy. I did find it easiest to install the first leg on one end, then the second, then skip the middle and move to the forth leg, the fifth, and finally back to the middle.As far as my concern with the two-peice legs and rafters. This is not a big problem, however it does keep the fully assembled results from looking as good as it could had these been made from single sections. I am not sure why the manufacturer decided not to use full length sections other than the storage and shipping size.Overall I am happy with my purchase and will leave the 4 star rating. If I had the option of purchasing a similar product with single piece sections I would have bought that instead.INITIAL IMPRESSION==================I just received this and have not yet installed it so this is a preliminary review. I will update the review when I have completed the assembly.Initial Thoughts on Appearance:- Both the cover and steel tubes are tan in color.- The large 2" tubes make for a nice sturdy look.- The canvas color matches the tubes and seems reasonably thick.Cons:I expected the legs and rafters to be long so that a single tube would be used for each leg and each rafter. However the legs and rafters are quite short so two tubes must be joined to make each leg and rafter.I have two concerns with this approach.1) Appearance. Having to combine tubes add additional seams that make the final assembled product slightly less attractive.2) Long term durability. Each tube-to-tube connection introduces potential weak points that over time may sag or potentially loosen, bend, or become damaged.Overall I am happy with what I have seen so far and would likely buy this again. If the product was made from longer tubes I would have given it 5 stars.
