Product Description
ASP Batons are the worldwide standard for law enforcement professionals all over the world. All the knowledge ASP have gained through years of working with these professionals went into the design of this incredible flashlight. The Triad USB adds a micro USB charge port, internal charge circuit and lithium-ion power cell to the ASP signature design. Premium Triad features remain. A foamed vinyl grip complements a matte black, hardcoat anodized aerospace aluminum body. The switch body rotates to an intermittent, lock or constant-on position. A replaceable belt clip may be attached lens up or lens down. All connectors and springs on the Triad USB are gold plated. The electronic circuit board drives a Cree XPG R5 LED to 300 lumens as measured against the ANSI FL-1 Standard. Loosening the head of the Triad reveals the micro USB charge port. Attach the retractable charging cable to the supplied wall charger, car charger or a computer USB port. Even a micro USB cell phone charger can be used to recharge the Triad USB. The battery indicator of the Triad blinks red when charging. It turns to solid green when fully charged. The wall charger, car charger and retractable charge cord are encased in a zippered ballistic carrier.

Ordered 2, one did not work outright, the other died after 2 charge cycles. There is a circuit problem in the electronics. Should be recalled. Company has poor customer service as well

ASP MAKES GARBAGE PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!My police dept. purchsed these as a christmas gift for officers. As a midnight officer a flashlight is a life or death needed reliable product. This product has stopped working twice on traffic stops, one of our most dangerous job tasks. Approximatley after 3 charges the first flashlight stopped working. Worked fine before the charge. Stopped working after the charge. It was 2 weeks old. After calling and emailing ASP, they basically blew me off. I heard nothing back from them after nearly a month. Luckily our local uniform shop replaced and would handle the defective model through their local representitive. Now about a month into the second flashlight it stopped working. Worked fine one day, now it won't turn on again. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. ASP has terrible customer service and will not warrant their product. Heck, they don't even tell you no, they just ignore you. Go buy a Streamlight, they are much more durable.

This is a VERY bright light, works well only when it wants to.Sometimes it flickers, but works well overall.I do not think its worth the price though.
