Unlike what is stated on this products description, the rope to tie to a tree is NOT included.

Well, it's cheaply built, and lacks some product design elements - not for a serious camper looking for a high performance hammock, but it does the job. The tarp does little against even the lightest rain, but it does help, and with an added tarp on top this is a great little hammock. It takes some getting used to, but overall a good hammock, and lightweight - a cheap alternative to an expensive solo tent for the casual backpacker.

I wanted a hammock that would be heavier for winter camping. The canvas bottom fits that requirement. It's a good little hammock. I plan on using a tarp with it in the future. For the price here on Amazon it's a good little hammock.
